::The lobby smells great the moment u step into the hotel. Staff are kind and friendly. The rooms are superb but still have some stains at the mirror for the room I got. Breakfast was awesome with variety of choice, definitely kick start your day the right way. However, some of the tables are slow in cleaning and on my first day one of the plates still have oil stains on it. That's the only reason they didn't get a 5 star.

::Aloft is an efficient hotel. The check in is quick. The staff is courteous and prompt. But I didn't like the room. It was big but very clinical. The toilet was very narrow and needs an upgrade. However, I was super surprised that their minibar is free! Nice touch. The gym is very small but I got a full hour on the treadmill. The breakfast seating is novel but the buffet is very narrow and crowded. Wish there was more room. But the coffee is good. I actually liked all the aspects of the hotel except for the room. It just is not my kind of a room.

::It is situated right next to KL Sentral, making it very convenient for travellers by train. The room is clean and comfortable. Might be the best value compared to the ones in the US. Love the rooftop pool.

::The staff were brilliant. They anticipated what we needed after a long flight offering early check in, a shower in the gym before the room was ready and luggage storage before and after our stay. The swimming pool on the roof was larger than expected and drinks service to lounger was luxury! The breakfast was incredible.. like nothing I've seen before. The room was clean, large and comfy. I could have slept either way round on the super king!
