::My maiden visit to BookXcess newest branch at Starling Mall Damansara Utama. Located at the third floor, it was just a level below the MBO cinema. The space is spacious with adjoining book cafe for the hungry bibliophile who will completely lost track of time when being surrounded by books. Writers too could utilise this area for writings. Just bring along your tablets or laptops and you will have more ideas and motivation to write by being amidst the published books. The aisles in between the book racks and tables are quite wide compared to the branch in Amcorp Mall and the layout and design to this branch is clean and minimal. One of the good thing about this book store is , it is 'wheelchair friendly. The aisle is wide and the floor is not split leveled like some other book stores. Though it is on the third floor, disabled customers can easily get access to it through elevator. Coming to think about it, it is difficult to find a decent bookshop which has the accessibility to wheelchair. There will always some nook and cranny which is too narrow to manouvre the wheel chair. If not, there is always steps or levels which is a challenge for wheelchair-bound people. I truly feel sorry for the disabled community. Looking at the book assortment, I guess it still can't beat the branch in Amcorp Mall. Although the layout in Amcorp Mall was quite cramp but it is a haven to book lovers. With stools and seats scattered around the shop, customers can spend longer time browsing the books while resting their legs. The end result, of course finally they will purchase more books. All in all, though book store in Starling Mall is brand new, I still prefer the one in Amcorp Mall. I guess I am the sentimental conservative type of person who once is fond and familiarise with a place or space will steadfastly love it for eternity.

::Lovely and spacious. Cosy and warm environment. Members get additional discount with a purchase above fifty ringgit. However, the selection of titles is not as diverse as it used to be.
