::I went at 1230pm on a Thursday and the place was deserted. The waiter told me that the guests all came and gone after breakfast. There was no more nasi lemak, only the bagels were left. I tried the egg ham bagel with mustard, it was below average, bagel was hard and chewy. There was a mosquito flying around which I'm highly sensitive about. I don't drink coffee, so it was just a plain tea bag in hot water but I was a little alarmed that the cup has a lip coffee stain on the rim where I would drink. Plus points: beautiful interior. Maybe I came at a downtime but food and cleanliness should always be top notch. 4 stars for interior. 2 stars for bagel and tea. (does not apply to all other food and coffee which I did not try)

::I'm surprised at the comments about the coffee here. I've been coming to this place ever since I discovered it because it's THAT good. The espresso is perfectly extracted (wonderful crema), and the foam (for lattes and cappuccinos) is smooth and creamy, not bubbly. Even the red lattes, made with rooibos instead of espresso, is well executed. I've tried cafes all over town and Bricklin is still, by far, one of the top two places for good coffee (the other is Frank Laurent). So if you're looking for proper coffee and not the drab, awful dishwater most places call coffee, this is the real deal.

::Environment is nice and ok. Space is small and easily feel crowded if the tables are almost full. If you prefer more space between tables or being in a spacious place, this place is so-so. Better to prepare small notes or coins as I went there twice and both times also the staff says don't have small changes. Not a good place for taking main meals. Not much food choices. Order a simple egg-ham bagel but serving is too slow... Went there after lunch time, only 1 staff working and served so many cups of coffee after me then only serve my bagel. Coffee is not bad. I wouldn't go there myself unless friends want to meet there.

::The coffee I had was poor. On the other hand the cakes here are decent though a little pricey. The cafe itself is a nice place to relax, it's small but smartly designed and stylish. Unfortunately, the food and beverage were not particularly memorable.
