::We took our wedding pictures here, it's always special to come back to this please don't forget this is the beginning of Georgetown will Heritage buildings culture. Lawrence and Linley made it all happen for George Town without them we would not have the UNESCO World Heritage status of course everyone help but the Lohs' our main couple

::We recently stayed at the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion and absolutely loved it here. It felt really special to be immersed in such an colorful and interesting history. I also really appreciate the meticulous restoration and continuous maintenance that the team have undergone. We did one of the daily tours during our stay and it was very insightful - shout out to our tour guide Teri who was fantastic. The staff were very friendly - Shiro at the front desk was helpful and very friendly. We also found the team at the restaurant during breakfast so lovely. And ohh the house-made jam at breakfast is delicious! The room was very spacious. The king bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was a great size and I loved the shower. Totally would recommend staying here! We loved it.

::Got to visit based on their schedules. The entry fee is only 17RM. They provide a very punctual and relevant guide explaining the history.

::Very attractive mansion. Tour itself was a bit of a dud, with about 70-80 people joining (Monday afternoon) and the content reduced to a set of factoids to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Tour includes the entrance hall, central atrium on the ground and first floor, and one room. Both wings are out of bounds, being part of the hotel, and from a glimpse are at least as charming as the atrium. Worth a visit, but also obvious you're still missing out on most of the best bits.

::Gorgeous restoration! We made it just in time for the 45 minute guided tour. Well, the guide was so knowledgeable and chatty so she took an hour 😊 'Twas nice to get to know more about this Hakka tycoon and about George Town's history. Tours run 3x, 11am, 2pm, and I think last is 3 or 4pm. Adults - RM17.
