Staff don't care and are not interested in helping you find products. They are clueless on their own advertised best price guarantee. Most of them are busy on their phones or talking to eachother. Don't waste your time shopping here.if there was a Zero star option this store would get it.

You can shop a lot of furniture here but the price is just ok, in Malay standards I think you can enjoy a nicer price at some where else.

Worst service ever! Pure and complete disgust at the customer service received. Purchased a 9kgs, 29inch x 21inch, although not heavy, it was large. Upon checkout, what seems to be the IT sales floor manager, RANDI, dragged the monitor from the sales floor, to the cashier counter for payment. Asked for Randi to get a staff to help me bring the monitor from the store to my car park; store was at 2nd flr Midvalley, car was parked B3 at Gardens. Randi told me that he only has 2 guys on the shop floor, named KC and Eric, and he couldn't let them away from the sales floor. Randi lifted the monitor for 2 seconds, and told me that it wasn't too heavy and that I should try lifting the monitor to see if I could possibly lift it myself because it was "light". If it was possible to lift the monitor effortlessly, why would Randi have dragged the monitor from the sales floor to the cashier which was less than 10 meters away? Randi then told me that he could get me a shopping cart. While Randi was getting a shopping cart, the 2 sales person KC and Eric, whom Randi said was CRUCIAL to the running of the sales floor began chatting away. Their talking volume was very loud. It was clear and obvious that they had nothing to do and were reluctant to help out a customer which has just made a heavy purchase. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to another manager in store, and he asked for the 2 sales member, Eric and KC to stop chatting, but after 2 minutes, they started their chatting again. I had made a complaint in store and asked for the General Manager, whose name was Danny Lau, but was unavailable at that time. I had asked for a direct business line and an email to both which were refused to be given to me due to "privacy" concerns. If I was the GM, and this kind of customer dissatisfaction has happened under my watch, I would expect my email to be given to the customer directly, and the 2 staffs which were chatting would be reprimanded on the spot or terminated directly. This kind of behavior is totally unprofessional and unacceptable for a store such as Harvey Norman as the store is supposedly to be "well known" for their customer service.
