::Today marks our last visit to La Risata, after well over 6 years. It used to be the place for decent Italian food, one of the first ones that managed to make a pizza to taste like a pizza. Now, it’s a place that serves food with Italian names, plays the same 1982 Italian song CD every day, and just has got no soul. Beware if you are a group; the food is served randomly and the first ones are finished, while the last ones have not been served. There is no friendly Italian style waiter or a generous laugh, instead the staff looks away and if you look for someone in charge, no one seems in charge - except the credit card terminal; that one is always charging. To sum it up, I would say the food is acceptable Italian tasting, but lacks soul. And if you have ever spoken to a person with no soul, you will not want to meet that person again voluntarily. In that spirit, I have closed the La Risata chapter and will not return.

::Brought my sister out for her birthday on a Sunday and it was almost ruined by the terrible service. I blame the management for poor training and discipline among the staff. The non-local waiters have poor command of English and managed to get my orders wrong. And all throughout service, waiters can be seen fooling with each other and not paying attention to customers' needs. For an eatery that aspires to be a high-end Italian dining experience, it couldn't get any worse! The Ampang outlet is far better managed and run.

::Stay away from this restaurant at all cost! The service is horrendous and they’ll make you wait without any care, even if it’s a kid! One dish came out of three and the rest came about half an hour later. The wine served was less than it should’ve been. The waiters are extremely incompetent. Definitely our last visit here ever and will only be giving negative feedback on this restaurant.

::Tends to get very busy on weekends so reservations are recommended. However, they offer service through foodpanda which is great! Their seafood pasta and duck salad are favorites!

::Came here for a birthday party. Nice ambience. The waiter who attended our table was attentive and professional. Though this demeanor was not present in all the wait staff. Food : menu has a variety of food to choose from. We ordered a salmon dish, linguine with mushrooms, and a duck pizza. The salmon and pizza were delectable. Wished the duck was cut in smaller pieces for easier consumption. Parking : limited parking. Either by the parking bays if you're lucky or by the housing area.
