  Praying cloth (telekong) is so clean and smell nice. it's hang nicely. I like this mosque 😊 Alhamdulillah.

  The place is still same as usual, perhaps the authorities in Petaling Jaya should give more facilities for parking space. It's hard to park a car at the Masjid

  ‘Kudos’ and ‘congratulations’ to the mosque management committee, for taking and holding firmly to their stance during all these times, with regard to the issue of the ‘mandatory’ practice of Tarheem recitations before the Azan is called out, even though His Eminence (Sahibus Samahah) –a State Mufti– has spoken against it firmly and yet courteously; by issuing a legal opinion (Fatwa) that is correct, accurate, and based on concrete grounds. May God Almighty preserve the Mufti, because he indeed has spoken and acted in truth. Amen. We would like to take the opportunity to say ‘a thousand thanks’ for reading and acting upon the feedbacks that we –the residents and local citizens of Section 14 Petaling Jaya– have given you. I would also like to say ‘thank you’ for showing the truth to the masses the fact that this is masjid tun abdul aziz (abdul majid); and not masjid nik abdul aziz (nik mat) as pointed out or speculated by somebody else. To avoid any unnecessary confusion, there's a mosque in the state of kelantan, called masjid tok guru, situated in kampung pulau melaka, in the district of kota bharu. And I'm sure that ‘masjid tok guru pulau melaka’ is the mosque built by and for the kelantan people to show their deep appreciation for their local religious figure there. So you see, there is ‘no such thing’ as this mosque being ‘overly-represented’ or ‘dominated’ by ‘people from the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, who also want to bring their spirit of parochialism, to a land outside of their native land’. May this mosque becomes better and more successful in the future, under a new brand of leadership that is reformed, appointed, and supervised by a relevant authority, such as the Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor. It is my utmost hope that this mosque will be led by a group of people who have successfully completed memorizing the Qur'an in its entirety (the Huffaz), coming from the regions of Selangor and Federal Territory of KL (such as Da'i Hakim, the Winner of Pendakwah Nusantara 2017); so as to honor the land where this mosque stands; and so as not to outsource the talent to non-native graduates of Tahfiz Centers coming from another states (since they also need to fulfill the vacancies in their respective hometowns) because I really believe in the capability of our homegrown, native Selangorian memorizers of the Qur'an. Who are the worthiest and the most eligible group of people that we want to count on to maintain our mosques (especially in leading others in prayers), if not for the native Huffaz themselves? My further hope would be that this MTAA @ masjid bulat will successfully practice –or to be more specific, embody and externalize– the true teachings of Islam, that not only agree with all of the Islamic commandments, injunctions and ordinances, but also with the objectives of Maqasid Sharia; and what's more, those teachings should also be based on the sources of “Islamic Laws” (also known as the “Sharia Laws”; its sources includes Qur'anic verses, authentic Prophetic traditions, scholarly consensus, and analogical reasoning) that are genuine and conclusive. I would also desire that this mosque could truly reflects and represents the expectations and aspirations of the various people living in Section 14 PJ, who have various backgrounds. The end.   Beautiful mousqe, it's round as it name. Nearby offices, easy for Muslims to pray during working days.

  “ A relatively-old mosque [ 40 + years since its inception ] , that is also moderately-beautiful and fairly-crowded ; – but alas , it lacks due respect , consideration , and tolerance towards its fellow residents / neighbors . ” For criticisms towards the mosque ( written in both Malay and English ) , you can read them at MasjidInPJ [ dot ] BlogSpot [ dot ] Com , in an entry posted on 24/06/2008 , titled “ Masjid Tun Abdul Aziz Jln Semangat Seksyen 14 46100 Petaling Jaya ” , under the comments section. I'd like to make a couple of reminders to myself – first and foremost – and then to whom it may concern. First , peaceful relations between people is more virtuous in the sight of God than voluntary acts of worship 〖 Sunan Tirmidhi 2509 〗 . Secondly , a person is not considered as one of the followers of the true teachings of the Islamic Prophet , Muhammad ( PBUH ) , if he / she fights for the sake of ‘ Tribalism ’ 〖 Sunan Abu Dawud 5121 〗 . And third , please know that indeed He , ( i.e. the Omni-potent , All-Powerful , Almighty God ) will not make the wrong-doers successful 〖 Surah 6 Ayat 21 — Surah 6 Ayat 135 — Surah 12 Ayat 23 — Surah 28 Ayat 37 〗 . And last but not least , let us be reminded that Islam is a religion that promotes social equality ; and ergo , is against all forms of racism and bigotry 〖 Surah 30 Ayat 22 — Surah 35 Ayat 27 & 28 — Surah 49 Ayat 13 — Musnad Ahmad 20885 — Musnad Ahmad 22978 — Sunan Tirmidhi 2955 — Sunan Tirmidhi 3270 〗 · So let us show respect to our neighbors ; and be considerate of others ; treat people exactly how we would like to be treated by others ; and most importantly – let us foster inter-ethnic and religious tolerance ( or also known as ‘ inter-racial ’ and ‘ inter-faith ’ tolerance ) – for a more peaceful co-existence between people of diverse heritage and culture ; simply because as proud and yet amicable Malaysians , we have all lived , and are still currently living , and will continue to live in a multi-cultural society. Failing to do so ( as mentioned above ) will result in repercussions coming from none other than the surrounding community itself.
