  I enjoyed our stay at rainbow hotel. The staff was very friendly and we had only a few issues with the facilities. The hot water was a little weak but not a deal breaker. The wifi was shoddy at night, but worked well during the day. Good smelling body soap and shampoo are provided along with fresh towels. Biggest issue was the mosquitoes! They were outside and inside our room. Theres not much to see around this area of town but it was very relaxing and we found a few stores and restaurants that we would definitely visit again. In this area check out the mall, alor star mall, there's a huge store in there that sells just about everything you need. But if you really want to save money visit the Eco store, just about everything is 2.12 ringgit there! We got some useful items as well as a bunch of snacks. There are good restaurants around the area as well as a food market across from the mall! There was also a small night market that sold clothes and other items. The dogs are always barking but they are dogs, can't help that. The room was secure and theres even a security guard downstairs.

  Rooms are nice but otherwise poor. The dogs next door.are a nuisance. If u want your ratings to go up, pls do something abt it. The neighbour is keeping abt 5 dogs caged up. And they bark non stop. Its in your hands. And pls dont make us tell u the internet is not working. U shud monitor it yourself. And if possible hire locals to clean the rooms.

  Friendly reception staff. Clean & decent size rooms. Very good value since the price for a room is only RM60 (not including GST). Deposit is RM50. It has free wifi. The room has a tv, air cond and water heater. They provide fresh towels and a soap & shampoo dispenser in the bathroom. The parking lot in front of the hotel has a security guard.
