I've been frequenting this place almost every Friday since it opened. They have been very innovative with their menu. They boast a good variety of lunch rice and chapati sets and even have a unique lotus leaf briyani which is quite popular. The layout is a little different with a lot of light and ventilation and I do like the fact that the curries are self serve and you can top up from the clay pots at any time. One stand out point is that this venue hires a large number of refugee staff and encourages patrons learn about this approach. Kudos to the owners.

Banana leaf rice was pretty good. The choices of vegetables that come with the set changes based on availability which makes for a nice change of pace so one doesn't get bored of the food. The curry choices and dhal were also delicious and the sauces weren't watered down such as you might get at some places. The fried Tenggiri fish and chicken were delicious! It's a bit different from the usual banana leaf rice places since it is self service and the pricing isn't the cheapest around but considering the location, it's understandable.

2 days ago i went to this restaurant and i ordered banana leaf. i was with my wife. Here, i wanted to express my dissatisfaction on the food price. Firstly, i asked for the menu they have but they said they does not have any menu. So, my wife and i just ordered banana leaf 2 sets with 2 different types of chickens and 2 drinks. To make the story short, when we are about to pay the food, we found out that the price are very expensive! it was almost RM60 for both.We were very shocked. I think the price are not suitable to be given like this much.I don't even get any receipt for it. For those who are planning to eat here or any other restaurant, please ask for the price first. To the owner of this restaurant, you may consider to give students a discount even though i am not a student .

The food was incredible. The briyani with lamb shank is a must try. And never did I think that coffee and coconut oil would taste so good!
