Terrible clinic, I came 10 minutes early, told the receptionist that i've arrived. Waited for about 30 minutes pass my appointment time, asked the receptionist and got told there's 2 more people before me. I got up and left, they called me an hour and a half later telling me it's my turn, I old them to cancel my appointment. I hope you guys run out of business.

Easily the worst psychiatrist you could look for in the entirety of PJ. The central location of his clinic gives away the mistaken belief that just because it is packed, itโ€™s in any way a decent clinic. Please if you do choose this clinic to try to alleviate your problems, only consider the non-prescribing psychologist, Dr. Tan, who specialises in dealing with chinese speaking clients. If you are not a chinese person who struggles with your english proficiency, please save yourself the pain and frustration of coming here. The wait times on average for my last half dozen visits, have been at least 2 hours. No matter the day, the time or the season, they will always overbook their patient roster everyday and even if you arrive punctually, the patients that could not meet the doctor would take the first slots immediately the next day. Coming for your appointment on time is pointless, as they will just cause you further pain and distress when they send you away after a long 2-3 hour wait, as it is past the doctorโ€™s working hours. So, If you are a person suffering from any anxiety or depression, DO NOT CONSIDER THIS CLINIC UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. IT IS THE WORST PSYCHIATRIC CLINIC YOU COULD POSSIBLY CHOOSE. Have a nice day, and I hope you never have to suffer here like I have.

Went to a couple of other clinics but this was the only place where I felt really comfortable and not taken for granted. I had a previous diagnosis from a different doctor many years ago, and the other clinics I went to just treated me based on that diagnosis. Tan & Ng agreed to re-diagnose me when I said that previous solutions did not work. This seemingly small concession was a huge sign for me - they respected my opinion and did not treat me based on the assumption that I did not know better. This theme continued throughout my course of treatment. I was never made to feel bad or silly, no matter what I said or asked. I also observed how they treated other clients - again, all I saw was respect and kindness. A warning: they're not going to spoonfeed you with a solution. They expect you to put in some work towards healing yourself, and honestly? I feel that's the best method when dealing with any illness, but it's particularly important with mental or emotional illness. If you expect a quick fix or a 100% doctor-driven solution, this is not the place for you. However, if you truly want to work through your issues with the goal of eventually being able to deal with them on your own in the future - the psychiatrists and counselors here will equip you with the tools and knowledge to do so. Yes, it will be expensive, but compared to other places I've been to, I felt that this clinic gave me good value for the money I spent. Yes, it will take time and effort, depending on the severity of your issues. But after a few of sessions here, I never felt the need to seek treatment again - either here or anywhere else. I think that speaks for itself.

Everyone here is patient, calm and kind. Appointments are necessary and even then there might be a wait when you arrive. Note that before referring you directly to a psych, you *will* be diagnosed by a doctor. This doc will advise you on what you need, whether it's medication or further treatment by a specific psych. So far in my experience they have been really good. They truly listen and don't interrupt until you're done and done. Their advice has stood me in good stead. Yes, they are expensive, and if you can afford it I highly recommend it. Do NOT expect quick fixes.
