  This is one of the oldest retail supermarket in Bangsar that sells many different varieties of daily goods. Very popular among locals here. Car parking maybe difficult to find.

  Great shopping for dry goods but be careful and check the pricing. Some goods are priced higher but the rest are competitive. The vegetables like ladies fingers and short beans are not worth buying. Too old and fibrous.

  I have a love-hate relationship with TMC. To begin with, you can certainly find numerous items your wallet can agree with but don’t be fooled by the idea that things are cheap here because premium supermarkets like Village Grocer just across the street do have numerous items which are cheaper than here too. I wish the aisles in the supermarket are broader because most of the time, one will have to brush through others to get across and it’s the worst at the checkout counters. Often, items on the aisle do not have matching price tags with the items so much to my horror, at times, items picked cost more at checkout and there would be major inconvenience when there was a queue waiting behind me. The fresh produce items like fruits and vegetables are not exactly looking or smelling fresh, and I will not buy seafood from here especially when anyone can lay their bare hands on the fish and prawns. Not hygienic. Do something about the odour in this section. While the service staff are generally pleasant, they are not well trained, which is such a pity because you will want help looking for items not positioned in a logical fashion.

  One of the oldest supermarket in the country. It is very well stocked with fresh ingredients and everyday groceries, which is expected, given its location in one of the richest neighborhood in Malaysia, Bangsar. There is a specialised butcher situated next to it as well, so the many expatriates who stay in the area can easily source their western cuts of meat without having to visit another shop elsewhere. However, with the premier location you must expect equally premier prices... and boy do they charge extra in this supermarket! The place is also quite cramped, so expect to rub shoulders with strangers frequently!
