  The refurbished place has improved the menus, but the standard of service has been lost. Very poor, treated as though I'm doing them a favor for being there. Disappointing

  Ordered a plate of mutton rice ,only 3 dice sized mutton is chewable . The rest impossible ,

  One of the rare and few dining options near the rows of private housing that flank it that is prominent along Upper Serangoon Road. 7Star restaurant can be seen just across the road once you alight opposite Upper Serangoon Mall. They serve prata, at $1 per piece (plain), as well as briyani with side dishes if you please. While their food isn't anything to scream about, with their prata being limp, flat, and burnt around the edges, their fish curry being overly spicy for my taste, and their moong dhal (yellow lentil curry) lacking in depth and consistency, their prices are reasonable and you can ask for free refills of fish curry to go with your prata. You get what you pay for! People who live in the vicinity of that restaurant are already thankful enough for a place that sells cooked food within walking distance from their homes.

  24hrs eatery, catered for local, not fancy but with decent food
