::Conducive location and located in the middle of town. Walking distance to local attractions. Good air conditioning, has hot showers inside and cold outside, although toilets are shared. WiFi is quite weak, but data connection is strong. Overall a nice environment for budget seekers.

::Not exactly a place built to be hotel, as rooms are manga cafe style with open on top and partition instead of walls. But it's clean and staff which is a Chinese family are nice

::EDM DOES NOT STAND FOR ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC! It's just a coincidence ;P With that said, EDM space was one of the most hospitable hostels I have stayed at. They helped me with everything I wanted to know about Ipoh, and made my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. In fact, originally I had booked a bed in the common's lounge (the cheapest option), but they let me stay in one of the vacant rooms because I had an early bus. That was extremely nice, something that they did not need to do, but did out of kindness for my travel plans. The only downside is that there is one hot shower, but there are many showers outdoors, which can be a great experience during a hot day. With that said, the decor is awesome, and the owners are great. Enjoy your stay at EDM space!
