::This house served as the former residence of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohd, the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia for nearly 16 years from 1983 - 1999 before he moved his official residence to Putrajaya. It was converted into a gallery and opened to the public in Dec 2003. Admission to the gallery is FREE but photography is not allowed in the gallery. When you visit this gallery, you can see the many artefacts and personal collection of many gifts and awards given to the Prime Minister during his tenure. Also, you can get a more intimate idea of how the PM and his children lived as their bedroom walls are replaced with glass panels.
