::the professional look and too clean may actually scare off many entry level bikers. But when you got to know them better, it's not that bad especially they have very professional and well trained mechanics ( Of course you don't want your lovely bike to be simply touched by lousy careless mechanics right?). The look of the shop does tell who they are, Professional!

::Pros Excellent service. The staff is also helpful and willing to help and are a beck and call away High quality products. They carry branded goods so it should not break anytime soon. If it does, that's why they give warranties. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Most of the staff (save the cashier) are knowledgeable and can answer most questions easily without having to refer to a brochure or more senior staff. Wide variety of products. Everything from apparel to gloves to helmets to shoes, and even components should you want to upgrade your bike. Brand dedication. This allows the shop to be well versed in their products especially when it comes to servicing. A huge bonus especially when something goes awry. You can have faith the technicians will now what to do. Cons High volume of customers. The service is excellent. When you can get it. If you're there on a weekend, and want to buy a pair of shoes, expect to have to wait a bit or go downstairs and personally call one of the staff up. Yes, they can get that busy. Big price tags. This is mainly due to demand. The customers that come in typically have lots of spare change and want all the shiny and expensive goodies. As a result, us mere mortals may have some difficulty affording some of their goods. However, you can readily talk to the staff to discuss bringing in a particular model to suit your budget. Sudden closures. They seems to have somewhat random and surprisingly frequent stock taking days. Once, they even had to have an emergency closure because of staff shortage! I personally attribute this to the fact that they refuse to hire part time staff to ensure the staff on hand in knowledgeable and can provide a quality service. Their policy is a double edged blade. Brand dedication. This appeared under my 'Pros' list above. It is here because their brand dedication means that you cannot find Shimano and FOX parts here. They carry SRAM and Rock Shox. They can still service brands they don't carry, but from experience, best stick to shops/technicians who are well versed in those products/brands.
