::They don’t even deserve a star. Covered by GE Primecare insurance, they charged me $15 surcharge for Sunday night. I wasn’t allowed to pay by NETS when the machine was right there. My colleague also went on a Sunday night and the surcharge was $10 instead? Seems like they charge whichever price they like. Took the medicine to check with a Guardian pharmacist, only to realise the clinic gave cheap tablets and one of them was an imitation of a more effective & popular brand Leftose. Never going back there to get scammed again.

The doc cant even tell what happen to me... visited another doc on the same day who was able to advised according...

::Today I went to this clinic on 6:10pm and registered there using my AIA insurance card(The clinic is on my GP coverage list). The first thing I have been told is that I have to pay extra 10SGD because it is after 6pm. This is still fine. Later I saw the doctor. I told the doctor that my mouth and teeth were painful. The doctor used the flashlight to watch my mouth for less than one second(quick and impatiently) and said he cannot see anything. He said this should be a dental problem and he said he will write a referral letter to me. We said we do not need a referral letter and told him again whether he can check my mouth again since it is just inflammation. Then he said he is not sure whether it is inflammation, it may be more serious. And the consultation ended. So basically he did nothing. We went to the counter and the cashier said it is a dental problem so it is not covered by my insurance. She said we need to pay the full consultation fee. So the whole story is I went inside and I was told it is a dental problem. Then I was charged 30SGD without getting any useful information. And this cannot be covered by the insurance. Later I went to Raffles Medical. The doctor there checked my issue carefully and suggested me to see a dentist. They did not charge me anything. Thank you Minmed Clinic.

::Dr Karpagavalli is a very competent and caring doctor. She always gives me very good meds and is one of the very few doctors I know who can speak to patients in all 4 of our local languages, English, Tamil, Malay & Mandarin.
