  Modern store is one of the few stores in kuala Lumpur that provide almost all the Indian grocery items. It is based in brickfield little India area. They also keep variety of fresh vegetables and twice a week they also get Methi and spinach(palak) that's usually always in full demand. within a day that stock gets over.

  An Indian imported grocery store. Easy to figure out since it's crowded on evenings. It's nothing like your daily easy going supermarket like Lulu or Cold Storage. Pretty much packed with very less space to move around. From an Indian perspective, things we know about are available here. It gets difficult for new people to shop in local markets since we see totally different items from our usual brands. This store comes handy. Reasonable price for daily stuff.

  Like being in India. Enjoyed visiting there. Bought medimix soaps which I like a lot, vatika hair oil. A lot of products from India (and Dubai etc). There are other shops adjacent to Modern Store; all serving the Indian community and expatriates. Sorry didn't take any photos to share now.

  Can buy all Indian related food items. Crowded most of the time. Anyhow the staff were fast and efficient. One thing they need to improve is on the public relationship. The staff were a little rude. Need to improve their manners. It looks like the customers are at the mercy of the staff...... My opinion is based on what I saw.

  Do your marketing and grocery shopping here and save money! Open till midnight and you get the freshest produce everyday. All the best Indian spices, vegetables and mixtures you need for good and healthy curries. The same sandalwood soap that's sold for rm12 in Midvalley is RM3 here. They also take credit cards for purchases above RM50
