::Travelers friendly place! Friendly and helpful people at the front desk. Clean hostel, clean shared toilets and clean, strong showers. Comfortable bed. One very small downside is the breakfast. Only bread (no toaster), one variety of jam and teastless coffee. It's for free, so I can't really complain about it. The good thing is, the hostel is very close to some good eateries for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

::Your score 7.5 cheap there should be clothes hanger that is placed some centimetres nearer to an average Asian's height. The screws attached to the door frame is just too high up for one to reach. No view, but to be expected with the cheap cost Breakfast is a haphazard affair. There should be a proper toaster. But a lot of restaurants in this area so no complaints

::Whether walk-in or booked via internet, the room price is the same. It is located at Jalan Zinnia an inner road and not at Jalan Merpati, the main road. Across the road is Permaisuri Imperial City Mall. You have to look up as this homestay is 1st floor onwards. Room is clean. Shared toilets not so. Good supply of hot water. Towel is given but not others. Breakfast of bread, margarine and peanut butter given free. Unlimited coffee and tea. The pantry at 1st floor is free to use anytime. Economy room and double deckers has no tv or cupboard. However there is tv in the common room with 2 computers. Usage is free. As this city is prominently 3G, the internet is slow. But there are times in the morning where download speed of 3Mb/s noted. There are many good restaurants around here so no worry about food. If you need any groceries walk 3 mins to Boulevard and look for Sugar Bun at ground floor. The entrance to the supermarket is just in front. From there it goes underground. You can easily miss this. A travel agent is available at My Homestay for any trips around Miri like Mulu Caves etc.
