::Very friendly and helpful librarians and guards. Also, the books are very well-organised.

::Finally visited the national library after signing up for the u-Pustaka. The Adult Borrowing Department in Wisma Sejarah (on Level 3 and 4) have sufficiently wide collection as a community library. The staff on duty, Cik Doris, was extremely helpful and attentive knowing that it was our first visit. The staff in general e.g. cleaners, security guards etc are very soft-spoken, gentle and polite.

::A bit small for a national library. The resources are limited. Moreover, access to the e-library is only available for Malaysian Nationals. Foreigners who are currently on student visa cannot even access those online journals. Some of the articles are not updated as well.

::I went their And I was disappointed. I was looking for books about Malaysian Batik and as a national library of the country suppose to have such thing important for them like this, but I found only 1 book or 2. The other thing is the library membership is not giving for non Malaysian. Even if your are resident here or student.

::It's a huge building but sadly most of the space on three accessible floors are empty. The meagre book collections available do not befit a national library. No wonder the place is almost entirely deserted save for a few students. The computer lab aka digital library is underutilised and does not serve its full purpose. The auditorium is very cramped. The seats are very uncomfortable, akin to sitting in a plane economy class. Much improvement to be made.
