There have been changes to this site over the years. The orangutans are the clear draw and everything else has been somewhat neglected. Entry only peemitted during orangutan feeding times (0800-1000 and 1400-1600). We showed up at 1pm and had to wait outside the main gate. There used to be walking trails and an orchid garden open to public which could easily occupy an hour or more of time but all if these have been closed and appear neglected. One is left to wonder if this rehabilitation center is in need of rehabilitation itself. The walk from the gate to the feeding area is along a paved road full of traffic from shuttles and tourbus operators while passing closed and padlocked gates that bar your entry to the neglected walking paths of yore. Upon reaching the feeding area one can finally admire the majestic semi-wild orangutans along with throngs of ipad wielding tourists, myself included. One is left to wonder if the entire operation is meant to feed the orangutans, of if what is really being fed is a human desire to consume and document "unique" experiences. After the initial feeding there is the chance to spend a bit of time in an air-conditioned information room about the center and the orangutans. Here too you will notice outdated information that hints to a past glory of actual walking trails. There are also some crocodiles on display which are a good fall-back incase the orangtans did a no-show that day. Do visit if you want to see an essentially zoological exhibit and support the conservation efforts of this center. Don't visit with any plans to do very much walking or botanical explorations.

Will get to see the orangutans if you are lucky as the animals are living freely in the forest. Worth a try. Need better maintenance of the centre

Nothing special only to see orangutans if you are into monkeys. 1km walk in along a road with cars driving in and out. Bamboo forest and other flowers along the way but not well maintained. Overall they could do much better to improve the place.
