  A great place for Sibu folks to gather during festivities where there is a large openair space to hold public gatherings. During the festivities of the various ethnic groups like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Gawai and Christmas, the place with be beautifully decorated with appropriate decorations. It is believed to be the site of the old Fort Brooke where a plaque has been placed by the tourism board.

  Well every town in Malaysia has got one of these, this is Sibu's very own. It's spacious, green and nice enough for a relaxing stroll. However. It's during festive times several times a year that this place comes alive with attractive lighting and a make-shift food fare and amusement park.

  Well kept n clean Dataran. Importantly its housed lovely Xmas decoration. Sibu is so blessed.
